Born in 1985 on the Adriatic coast, he moved to Germany and then to Barcelona for studies. There, he discovered sailing and climbing at the same time. From his first short cruises in the Balearic Islands to his first climbing attempts on Montserrat, his passions grew and led him to travel further and further afield: to Morocco, Sicily and Turkey for climbing, to Sardinia and Corsica for sailing. This is how he left science and Spain at the end of 2014 to settle in Bonifacio, in the extreme south of Corsica where he has been learning and teaching sailing for more than 5 years. Today, he wants to offer the public journeys mixing sailing and travel, discovery and outdoor sports. Captain first of all, he surrounds himself with professional mountain guides to take you to the most beautiful climbing spots in the Mediterranean.

Born in 1990 near Paris, her passion for the sea comes from her childhood. Like many, she started with “optimist” sailing courses in Brittany… It was only in 2015 that she started to properly learn, at a cruising school in Corsica. As a trainee, then as a volunteer, then as an employee… at the beginning of 2020, she decided to follow Andrea in his project. Her specialities? Cartography, logistics, the basics of sailing for beginners… and planning life on board!

Born in Sardinia, where he lived until the age of 27, he then moved to the Italian side of Monte Rosa: “It was up there that I developed my passion for the climbing, in a mixed mountain terrain where I got to know mountaineering and skiing.
Becoming a mountain guide was the obvious following step”

In 2015, he moved to Chamonix, at the base of Mont Blanc, where he lives and practices his profession: mountain guide and rock climbing in summer, ice climbing and off-track skiing in winter. He never forgets his home island: “I usually spend the autumn in Sardinia, taking advantage to practice climbing and set up new lines”.

Simon has been a state qualified instructor in France since 2005. (BEES climbing-canyon) After years of mountaineering in Chamonix, Simon dedicated himself to sport climbing and made it his way of life. His desire for freedom and his constant search for the most beautiful lines to climb have taken him to China, France, Italy, Spain, Canada and Switzerland.
As soon as he arrived in Greece, Simon knew he had found the perfect place to live his passion as a climber.
Every year he shares his passion with climbers from all over the world who come to benefit from his experience. Simon helps them to progress while having fun on the most beautiful routes.

Daniele Arena, traveller and seasoned sportsman, was born in Catania, Sicily. He was one of the first climbers to settle in San Vito Lo Capo, where he opened many climbing routes. Today he runs the Climbing House and is also a mountain bike instructor.

El Bahira Camping is located in the heart of the Zingaro nature reserve, next to the village of San Vito Lo Capo on the north-western Sicilian coast. It is an ecological Campsite **** open all year round. It welcomes many climbers who come to enjoy the incredible cliffs of San Vito. There is even a small climbing shop and a few routes right in the heart of the camping site.

Located on the cliffs of San Vito, in an exceptional setting just a stone’s throw from the village but in the middle of nature, with a breathtaking view. The Climbing house is run by our local partner guide, Daniele. A simple accommodation with just the right amount of comfort for nature lovers.
